Travis was one of my closest friends during my time at Caney. I came to the "game" late, joining the other "Caney-ites" my Sophmore year. I was not really befriended by the vast majority. So I was thankful for Travis and the "big brother" role he took, he did not treat me as the "outsider". The times that I spent with him and the conversations we had were amazing and I regret that I did not keep up on him the years after. But, if I had the opportunity I would thank him for being so real and true to himself, and for being able to overlook the flaws of others and accept them for who they are and where they were in their walks of life.
